Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, lies midway along the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur represents the heartbeat of Malaysia, serving as its cultural, commercial and transportation centre. With a population of over 1.3 million, Kuala Lumpur is the largest city in Malaysia. It is better known as KL to the locals, the city is a heady mix history and culture interwined with mushrooming skyscrapers adn office towers. KL is the best examples of a city that has managed to preserve the best of its cultural heritage and combine it with modern conveniences to offer a wholly unique experience to visitors
While the city's past is still present in the evocative British colonial buildings of the Dataran Merdeka and the midnight lamps of the Petaling street nightmarket, the past is every where met with insistent reminders of KL's present and future. The city's bustling streets, its shining, modern office towers, and shopping malls such as Petronas Tower (KLCC - tallest buildings; height of 1,453 ft), KL Tower (heights of 1,381 ft) and Pavilion Mall (with over 450 retail shops spread across 7 levels)
